At Cestreham Lodge we are always on the lookout for worthy charity appeals that we can get behind and support.

The wife of one of our more recent initiates, Bro Pervez Razzaq is undertaking quite an arduous challenge in hiking up the Old Man of Coniston in the Lake District. This is all in support of the IFS Foundation, of which Jo Razzaq is a trustee.

The IFS Foundation supports children living within remote and rural communities in Sri Lanka. They fund projects which provide sanitation, healthcare, education and the provision of fresh water.

Specifically, money raised from this event will go to help fund the renovation of pre-natal and neo natal care facilities in the village of Madampe.

In support of Jo and IFS we have donated £1000. We feel this sits within the core values of Freemasonry. Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.
