Sunday saw the Beaconsfield Centre “put on” the annual Carer’s Christmas Lunch. The event provides a Christmas Lunch for people who care in the community.

These are people that dedicate themslevs full-time to care for others. It might be a family member of friend, but it does mean they have full lives serving others with little time for themselves.

As always Hall Barn Lodge organised the event with Cestreham providing the “manpower” on the day. Simon, Danny, Malcolm, David, Richard and Derek were joined by Kate Iley in serving lunch and clearing up afterwards, while Nick, as always, manfully manned the bar.

The lunch went extremely well and the Carers went home happy after a superb Christmas lunch follwed by a quiz, raffle, various party games and dancing.

A great time was had by all and we look forward to carer’s Lunch 2025.
